“As a resource to the older adult population and their caregivers in Orange County, the Council on Aging exhibit brings forth the creativity and imagination of its annual contest winners,” said Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Michelle Steel. “Travelers coming through John Wayne Airport are sure to enjoy viewing the vivid imagery of what living a long life means today.”

A curated collection of past and current winners of the Council on Aging’s annual ‘Aging As Art’ photography contest are available for viewing in the Vi Smith Concourse Gallery located on the Departure (upper) Level, across from Gates 2 through 5 in Terminal A and Gates 18 through 21 in Terminal C.

The nationwide contest invites amateur and professional photographers to share their vision and unique interpretation of the aging experience. Judged by a panel of skilled professionals,  selected winning entries from the contest have also been on display at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana and Newport Beach Central Library.
