John Wayne Airport Posts June 2015 Statistics

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased in June 2015 as compared to June 2014. In June 2015, the Airport served 849,475 passengers, an increase of 3.5% when compared to the June 2014 passenger traffic count of 820,986.

Commercial aircraft operations increased 1.1%, while commuter aircraft operations decreased 4.0% when compared to June 2014 levels.

Total aircraft operations decreased in June 2015 as compared to the same month in 2014. In June 2015, there were 21,085 total aircraft operations (take-offs and landings), a 9.0% decrease compared to 23,180 total aircraft operations in June 2014.

General aviation activity, which accounted for 66.4% of the total aircraft operations during June 2015, decreased 13.2% when compared to June 2014.
