Safety Policy Statement

Safety is the foundation upon which we protect people, passengers, and property. SNA is committed to implementing a Safety Management System (SMS) that establishes a systematic and integrated approach to managing safety.

We all share the responsibility for safety. A thriving safety culture and a safe operating environment can only be achieved when we collaborate. This requires the participation of everyone reporting safety hazards and incidents to prevent injuries and accidents. Individuals can confidently raise safety concerns without fear of reprisal from the Airport.

Our Airport community will achieve SMS initiatives as we apply our core values of Respect, Environmental Stewardship, Accountability, Collaboration, and Honesty (R.E.A.C.H.)

Everyone will offer safety-focused Accountability and Collaboration to drive continuous improvement in safety practices and policies. Airport Executive Leadership will support resources and education that enable SMS success. Together, our dedication will continue to cultivate a culture of safety excellence.
