Student Art Contest

The annual John Wayne Airport Student Art Contest is part of the International Aviation Art Contest. It is open to all Orange County public and private school students, including home-schooled students, in grades kindergarten through 12. Entries that best depict the contest’s theme are selected for exhibition and prizes and winning entries go on to compete at State, National and International levels of competition.

Theme: Air Sports and the Environment

Congratulations to all of the 31st Annual John Wayne Airport Student Art Contest Winners!

Students from public and private schools across Orange County had the opportunity to create exciting imagery depicting this year's theme. Awards were presented to students who placed in first, second and third for each grade level and all winning artwork was forwarded to compete at the state level.

Exhibition

Entries that best depict the contest’s theme are selected for exhibition in the Arrival (lower) Level behind baggage carousels 1 and 4 from November to January.
