Light Painting
From May 18 to June 14, 2023, the John Wayne Airport Arts Program will showcase an electric collection of photography by Laguna Niguel artist Christopher Allwine. As a photographer specializing in the technique of light painting, Allwine’s creations explore the ways in which the camera can be used to tap into the visual and symbolic nature of the nocturnal scene. Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased in March 2023 compared to March 2022. In March 2023, the Airport served 994,554 passengers, an increase of 8.5% when compared with the March 2022 passenger traffic count of 916,767. Read more
