The Community Focus Space Program, located on the non-secure side of the Riley Terminal next to baggage carousels in Terminal A and Terminal B, features art by Orange County artists, local community organizations, and artists with Orange County ties in solo-style exhibitions. This year-round community art space changes approximately every four to six weeks. There are also two Community Focus Space free-standing art display cases at each entry to the security screening check point areas in Terminals A, B and C.
Piece by Piece – Stories in Ceramic
Southern California artist Beverly Jacobs creates clever wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramic sculptures. Her distinct experience as a scientist lends her artwork a disciplined expression through shapes, forms and colors which fit collectively as pieces of a larger story when displayed together. The current Community Focus Space artist at John Wayne Airport features select pieces available for viewing in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal through January 19, 2023.
