JWAlive – Live music at JWA

JWAlive is the John Wayne Airport music performance program intended to enhance the guest experience at the Airport. Live music performances are accessible to ticketed passengers only, and are made possible by John Wayne Airport and QSC. We hope you will be able to enjoy one of the performances when visiting our Terminal!

    • Lauren Black
      Lauren Black is an American country singer/songwriter who has cultivated a loyal fanbase through her live performances, independent releases, and collaborative debuts. She has worked hard to remain independent and has garnered industry respect and support for her undeniable talent, work ethic, and impressive songwriting catalog.
    • Bobby Cruz
      Bobby Cruz began singing in churches at age 5, playing piano at age 7, and began his journey as a professional musician at the age of 18. Bobby is an amazing live performer, session player and arranger, with an incredibly versatile repertoire.
    • Mary Desmond
      Since the age of 10, Mary has performed in seven different musical shows at Legoland California, including playing the part of Emily in their holiday show, Let it Snow, and most recently as the lead character in a new show, Lego Friends Live. She has released more than 90 music videos on her YouTube channel featuring original songs, ‘Invisible’ and ‘Lily,’ as well as widely loved covers. Mary has also performed in over 85 live shows with her band, Fusion Beat, playing in venues including the House of Blues and Del Mar Fair.
    • Jason Feddy
      Jason is one of the OC's most original and truly amazing solo artists. As a songwriter, he crafts songs that bring a touch of his old Liverpool heritage, along with an edge that can be sharp as a knife, yet subtle as a warm evening breeze. His cover material encompasses most areas of popular music, with songs by such artists as the Beatles, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Neil Finn & Crowded House and many more!
    • Matthew Jordan
      With edgy synthesizer grooves a la CHVRCHES, soaring piano pop hooks from the playbook of Andrew McMahon and Sara Bareilles, and contemplative lyrics that would be at home in the works of Jackson Browne, Matthew Jordan has crafted a unique style all his own. In addition to his own music, Matthew Jordan frequently works with other artists and singers as a music director, keyboard player, and producer.
    • Katelyn Marie
      Born with a natural ear and love for music, Katelynn grew up in a household surrounded by classic rock and poetic lyrics by the likes of Tom Petty. As a teen, Katelyn Marie was drawn to country music, finding inspiration from The Dixie Chicks, Garth Brooks and Johnny Cash. Katelyn Marie’s vocal strengths have most often been compared with the two-time Grammy Award-winning Colbie Caillat, but with her own unique style, sass and versatile range.
    • Tim O'Nan
      Tim O’Nan has been playing music in Southern California for the past 20 years. Whether playing solo or accompanied by a full band, his song list in the many hundreds is sure to please fans of any music style. Tim plays solo at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point and has frequent appearances at Fashion Island, the Island Hotel, and San Manuel Casino.
    • Jim Quealy
      Jim Quealy is a singer songwriter who grew up on Long Island and started writing songs and playing local bars in 1971. Jim has since resided and performed in NYC, London, LA, Nashville and currently in Orange County. Jim is a long time local favorite, performing solo guitar and piano at Captain Jack’s (Sunset Beach) where he enjoys playing audience requests from every musical genre.
    • Troy Romzek
      Troy Romzek is a singer/pianist/guitarist who performs in venues throughout Southern California including The Edison, Terranea Resort, and Wilson Creek Winery. He has a passion for music and enjoys entertaining crowds with his extensive repertoire of classic rock hits, soul favorites, blues standards, and top 40 bops. 
    • David Schulz
      Music was part of Dave Schulz’s life from the beginning. His father was a pianist and conductor of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, his brother is a Grammy-nominated classical percussionist and his sister an accomplished rock/soul singer. At age 10, he took an interest in the piano and within six months Dave had mastered the C Sonata by Mozart and began an obsession with Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and DEVO. Dave has performed with the Goo Goo Dolls as keyboardist/vocalist during their “Dizzy Up the Girl” tour.
    • Tyler F. Simmons
      Tyler F. Simmons performed in nearly 60 musical theatre shows and stage productions by the end of high school. After studying music in college, he went on to create original songs, play solo gigs, and secured a full-time residency at The Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage in 2015. Tyler currently performs throughout LA and Orange County and works as a producer focusing on vocal production and mixed media work.
    • Mark Wood
      Mark began playing music professionally in 1968 at the age of 11. With over 50 years in the music industry, Mark has built a repertoire of more than 2,500 songs by more than 325 artists. Whether he’s performing on piano and vocal, guitar and vocal, or adding the harmonica to a favorite tune, you will be amazed!
    • Brad Zell
      Brad Zell’s upbeat acoustic instrumental music is perfect for private events, restaurants, hotels, and any location where relaxing, positive musical vibes are desired.  His song list includes classic popular tunes ranging from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson that span from the 70s to today’s hits.
