30th Annual John Wayne Airport Student Art Contest Winners

FLYING: YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW

Congratulations to all of the 30th Annual John Wayne Airport Student Art Contest Winners!

Students from public and private schools across Orange County had the opportunity to create exciting imagery depicting the 2019 theme "FLYING: YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW."

This year's student art exhibition is on display from November 23, 2019 to January 16, 2020 at the Thomas F. Riley Terminal. Awards were presented to students who placed in first, second, third and honorable mention for each grade level at the Awards and Recognition Ceremony on December 8, 2019.

A United Airlines air travel ticket was awarded to both of the following grand prize winners:

California State Winners from JWA Student Art Contest

After the exhibition at John Wayne Airport closed, all of the winning artwork was forwarded to compete at the state level. In February 2020, six Orange County students placed at the state level and have now advanced to compete at the national level in Washington, D.C.
