NOVEL CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFORMATION
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is monitoring for illness among travelers and has expanded its enhanced health screening to 20 airports to identify individuals with novel coronavirus who are traveling into the United States, including Los Angeles International, San Diego International, and San Francisco International Airports in California.
John Wayne Airport does not have any flights to China or any other Pacific Rim country.
The current number of confirmed U.S. cases of novel coronavirus is updated regularly by the CDC at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) provides updates regarding the number of positive cases in California, including those from repatriation flights along with the number of persons that have tested for novel coronavirus at www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/Pages/Immunization/nCoV2019.aspx. Orange County currently has one confirmed case of novel coronavirus, who has fully recovered.
