    Avid surfer, free diver, and ocean swimmer, Melissa Murphy combines her love for art, ocean wildlife, and coastal waters by creating vibrant paintings and murals that depict the beach scenes of her hometown in Huntington Beach and Orange County’s coastline. Murphy’s artwork is on display in the John Wayne Airport Community Focus Space from July 16 – August 18, 2020. more

    Known as a pioneer of the British and international fashion scenes since the late 60s, Dame Zandra Rhodes brings her theatrical sense of style and design to John Wayne Airport in a new ‘The Art of Opera’ display showcasing her vibrant and textile-inspired set and costume designs for two operas, AÏDA, and The Pearl Fishers.     The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is monitoring for illness among travelers. Effective Sunday, February 2, 2020, incoming flights from China will be limited to eleven U.S. airports, including San Francisco International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport in California. John Wayne Airport does not have any flights to China or any other Pacific Rim country. more
