The Airport recommends passengers plan to arrive 1-1/2 to 2 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time to find parking, go through security screening and get to the gate on time.
Yes, but the white curb is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. When picking up passengers, it is best to park in the Terminal Parking Structures. The rate is an economical $2 per hour, and dedicated two-hour parking spaces are available on the lower level of the A1, B2 and C structures. Greeters can then wait for their party either in the ticket counter area on the Departure (upper) Level or in the baggage claim area on the Arrival (lower) Level.
Yes, John Wayne Airport encourages this after 9:00 am when the Departure (upper) Level is less congested than the Arrival (lower) Level.
John Wayne Airport can be accessed by the San Diego (I-405) Freeway, the Costa Mesa (SR-55) Freeway, and the Corona Del Mar Freeway/San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Toll Road (SR-73).
