John Wayne Airport Posts March 2022 Statistics
Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased in March 2022 as compared to March 2021. In March 2022, the Airport served 916,767 passengers, an increase of 137.9% when compared with the March 2021 passenger traffic count of 385,396. Compared to 337,981 passengers in March 2020, there was an increase of 171.2%. Compared to 923,403 passengers in March 2019, there was a decrease of 0.7%. Read more
Community Focus Space Showcases Portraits of Integrity Paintings
The newest Community Focus Space exhibit at John Wayne Airport features paintings by artist Dennis Carrie whose paintings, landscapes, still lifes, and portraits, focus on representing his subjects with respect and integrity. His current works aim to capture the character and honesty of some of the most impactful individuals throughout history. Select works from his Portraits of Integrity collection and other pieces will be on display in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal beginning April 19, 2022, through May 19, 2022. Read more

Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased in February 2022 as compared to February 2021. In February 2022, the Airport served 717,400 passengers, an increase of 215.5% when compared with the February 2021 passenger traffic count of 227,402. There was a decrease of 6.2% when compared to 764,506 passengers in February 2020 and a decrease of 9.1% when compared to February 2019 of 789,523 passengers. Read more
