SANTA ANA, Calif. - A selection of photographs by Orange County artist Irene Engard are on exhibit September 6, 2013, through October 4, 2013, in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal as part of John Wayne Airport's Community Focus Space Program. Engard's works can be seen on the Departure (upper) Level near the security screening areas in Terminals A, B and C and on the Arrival (lower) Level adjacent to Baggage Carousels 1 and 4.

The majority of Engard's images feature scenes from Africa, taken during trips to various regions. All of Engard's images are in their native form, with no computer manipulation. An example can be seen below.

"My mission is to share with you the wonders of nature and take you places you might not go," said the artist. "My vision is that I will influence you to take better care of our planet by exposing you to its greatness, beauty and diversity."
