ARTIST NANCY GOLDMAN FEATURED IN COMMUNITY FOCUS SPACE PROGRAM AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
SANTA ANA, Calif. - A selection of paintings by Orange County artist Nancy Goldman are on exhibition through August 8, 2013, in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal as part of John Wayne Airport's Community Focus Space Program. Goldman's paintings can be seen on the Departure (upper) Level near the security screening areas in Terminals A, B and C and on the Arrival (lower) Level adjacent to Baggage Carousels 1 and 4.
Goldman works in various mediums but prefers watercolor due to its variability. "There are many techniques possible with watercolor, from loose and watery to tightly rendered paintings, which make each new painting an exciting adventure," said the artist.
The JWA exhibition features watercolor paintings including the one below.
For Goldman, art has been a lifelong passion. Her motto has always been, "I can make that," and she has always been happiest while spending time in an artistic endeavor. Goldman also keeps a blog where she posts a new painting every Monday. For more information, visit http://nancygoldmanart.com/.
