Ground Transportation Center - Seismic Retrofit Project
Disneyland® Resort Express Bus Returns to Original Location
The Disneyland® Resort Express bus resumed operations in the Ground Transportation Center at John Wayne Airport.
Monday, October 8 at 7:00 a.m.
The Disneyland® Resort Express bus was temporarily operating from the Arrivals (lower) Level near Terminal A while the Airport resurfaced the Ground Transportation Center and completed seismic retrofitting of roadway columns in the area.
The overall Seismic Retrofitting project is ongoing through December 2012. Components of this project include reinforcing columns with steel wraps and replacing expansion joints in the roadways. The majority of this construction is being undertaken at night to minimize passenger impacts. More information can be found here.
