PHOTOGRAPHY BY ANN FANCIULLO SPERLING FEATURED IN COMMUNITY FOCUS SPACE PROGRAM AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
SANTA ANA, Calif. - A selection of photographs by Orange County artist Ann Fanciullo Sperling are now on display through November 1, 2012, in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal as part of John Wayne Airport’s (JWA) Community Focus Space Program. Sperling’s work can be seen on the Departure (upper) Level near the security screening areas in Terminals A, B and C and on the Arrival (lower) Level near Baggage Carousels 1 and 4.
Sperling has lived in Orange County for the past 20 years. She says, “I feel that art has always been for me an avenue of expression of my feelings and thoughts, an intuitive interpretation of the world around me.” Her body of work is macro-photography, enlarged images that are close-ups of areas or objects where that small area becomes the full image.
The JWA exhibition features a variety of Sperling’s photographs, an example of which can be seen below.

“I, like many artists, see the world differently,” says Sperling. “I hope my unique vision is revealed to the viewer, and hope to share that examination of the micro world.”
