JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT OFFERS NEW FLIGHTS - OF WINE
Vino Volo Wine Bar Now Open in Thomas F. Riley Terminal (Revised)

SANTA ANA, Calif. - John Wayne Airport announced the opening of its first new concession this week as part of the Airport Improvement Program. Offering hand-selected wines from around the world, Vino Volo brings an additional dining experience to the Airport by offering wine by the glass or bottle, wine tasting, and a selection of gourmet foods. Vino Volo is located in Terminal B across from Gate 9 and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
"The opening of Vino Volo brings us one step closer to our overall plan to implement new, high quality concessions, offering more dining options for our passengers traveling through John Wayne Airport," said Airport Director Alan Murphy.
Vino Volo features a variety of wine, along with a selection of menu items with options to purchase items to go.
Vino Volo offers a sophisticated experience for travelers to taste wine, enjoy good food and unwind while waiting for their flight."

Vino Volo, or "wine flight" in Italian, was named by Nation's Restaurant News as a Hot Concepts! Award winner in 2009.
"We provide a unique wine tasting opportunity for air travelers looking for a place to spend their time and relax before boarding," said Doug Tomlinson, founder and CEO of Vino Volo.
The newly opened venue also caters to the "on-the-run" passenger, as all of Vino Volo's dishes are available "to-go." Wine can also be purchased by the bottle and shipped to the preferred destination.
Vino Volo's opening is part of the Airport Improvement Program, which includes the modernization of John Wayne Airport's Thomas F. Riley Terminal, as well as numerous other improvements including: Parking Structure C, a Central Utility Plant, more than two dozen new dining and retail options, and many other elements that demonstrate the convenience, efficiency and value that John Wayne Airport brings to Orange County travelers.
