Airline NewsAirTran plane at JWA

With summer come changes to air service at John Wayne Airport.  AirTran Airways, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southwest Airlines, has added an additional flight to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Through August 9, 2013, the seasonal flight will be the second daily to San Jose del Cabo Airport nonstop from John Wayne Airport.

WestJet ended its seasonal service to Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the end of October 2012, and announced it will not be re-activating this service. WestJet's current schedule includes a daily nonstop from Vancouver, British Columbia to Orange County.
