| SANTA ANA, Calif. –
John Wayne Airport has launched its new Improvement Program Web site: www.ocair.com/improvements. The site allows the public to follow the process and progress of the JWA Improvement Program, including recent accomplishments and ongoing activities.
The Airport Improvement Program is a result of amendments made to the “Settlement Agreement” – the regulatory framework that governs operations at JWA – and includes construction of a new multi-level terminal building with six commercial passenger gates, six new security checkpoints, greater baggage screening capability, 2,000+ new parking spaces and new commuter facilities. JWA anticipates construction taking approximately five years.
The Web site features links to the overview of the program, along with the schedule, financing and goals of the program. The quarterly newsletter, new directions, and other Improvement Program-related publications can be viewed online as well.
The Airport Improvement Program will allow the Airport to continue providing convenient, efficient and secure air service with the high level of customer comfort and service that JWA users have come to expect.
