SANTA ANA, Calif. –
Photography by Dennis Dunton is on display through December 20, 2006 as part of John Wayne Airport’s (JWA) ongoing “Community Focus Program” featuring local Orange County artists. Dunton’s photographs are displayed in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal on the departure (upper) level between the ticket counter and security checkpoint areas and on the arrival (lower) level near baggage carousels 1 and 4.
Dunton, a
native of Costa Mesa, has taught
photography at El Toro High School
for 25 years. Living and working
in the surroundings of Orange County,
Dunton photographs in black and
white film capturing landscapes,
close-up still life, architectural
abstracts, and images that cannot
be captured easily. His photographs
are not digitally altered in any
way and are intended to represent
not only a place, but a feeling
as well.
