| SANTA ANA, Calif. – Mesa
Consolidated Water District (Mesa)
and the John Wayne Airport (JWA)
are working together to better
serve the community. Cooperative
efforts between the two agencies
will help ensure water reliability
for the future. JWA installed
waterless and low-flow devices
during its recent restroom refurbishment,
which will produce significant
water savings for the airport.
Mesa and JWA are also working together
on water conservation opportunities
as part of JWA’s
Improvement Program. The Airport’s
plans include building and refurbishing
restrooms with water-efficient
and low-flow devices that are
expected to reduce sewer flows
by 20%. Mesa and
JWA hope to collaborate on future
projects that could produce significant
water and energy savings that
will further benefit the community
and the environment.
Information about Mesa’s
residential and commercial Water
Use Efficiency Programs, including
