SANTA ANA, Calif. – John Wayne Airport will offer travelers the opportunity to be among the first to cast their ballots in Orange County’s June 6th primary election. Between May 22 and June 2, the Orange County Registrar of Voters will offer early voting at JWA, Monday through Sunday, including Memorial Day, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. There are two locations to cast ballots in the Riley Terminal – the first is between Caterina’s Candies and California Kidz in Terminal A and the second is to the left side of Creative Croissants in Terminal B.
“We
are pleased to serve as an early
voting location,” said Airport
Director Alan L. Murphy. “By
partnering with the Registrar,
John Wayne Airport can offer Orange
County passengers – even
those with the busiest of schedules – greater
flexibility to cast their ballots.”
Voters who would like to cast their ballot at John Wayne Airport, must be ticketed passengers, or Airport employees or tenants with valid identification, as the voting booths are located on the Terminal Concourse, beyond the security screening checkpoints.
During early voting, citizens may only vote in accordance with their on-file voter information. Voters who have moved or changed political parties or are not registered need to complete and submit their registration material, which must be processed by the Registrar of Voters before they are permitted to vote. For more information about registering to vote, contact the Registrar of Voters at www.ocvote.com or (714) 567-7600.
