JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT AND JCDECAUX UNVEIL NEW ADVERTISING PROGRAM
Partnership Brings State-of-the-Art Offerings to Orange County

SANTA ANA, CA – John Wayne Airport (JWA) and JCDecaux Airport, Inc. will celebrate the completion of JWA’s new, state-of-the-art airport advertising program on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event is not open to the public, but media interested in attending should contact Jenny Wedge at (949) 252-5182.

John Wayne Airport is the first North American airport to fully refurbish its interior advertising program with JCDecaux’s new generation of airport advertising products.  The cutting-edge plan includes a mix of tradition and technology complimented by timeless designs. Included in the featured displays are spectacular digital frescos (displays), fully interactive visitor centers and a new generation of backlit advertising displays with scrolling poster technology.  

“JWA’s focus is always on providing “the best” for our passengers – and that includes advertising in the Riley Terminal,” said Airport Director Alan L. Murphy. “JCDecaux has brought us a first-rate installation that, we think, our passengers will appreciate and enjoy.” He continued, “As icing on the cake, JCDecaux worked with us to highlight 18 Orange County landmarks as part of the new backlit displays located throughout the terminal, giving visitors a taste of some of Orange County’s terrific attractions.”

JCDecaux Airport, Inc. was awarded the five-year advertising concession contract at John Wayne Airport last November after submitting the dynamic proposal in a competitive process.
