SANTA ANA, CA – John Wayne Airport
Director Alan L. Murphy and the JWA Arts Commission are pleased to
announce the opening of a new exhibition showcasing the winners from
the Orange County Chapter of the American Institute of Architects’(AIAOC)
recent 2003 Design Competition.
The display features award winning architectural renderings and photo
panels of projects constructed in Orange County by local architects
from some of the
county’s most prestigious architectural firms. It can be viewed in the
Concourse Gallery of the Thomas F. Riley Terminal (visible across from Gates

“The AIAOC exhibition is unique in that it combines the functional aspects
of architecture with the creative aspects of design,” said John Wayne Airport
Director Alan L. Murphy. “It is an artistic snapshot of everyday buildings
within Orange County that we utilize to educate our children, work within, and
be entertained. The innovative designs make for an impressive exhibition.”
