EMERGENCY RESPONDERS RECEIVE FAA APPROVAL TO FLY IN AND OUT OF JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
 

 

(Santa Ana, CA) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in cooperation with the emergency response efforts to the East Coast, has authorized emergency responders carrying personnel, equipment and medical aid to fly into and out of John Wayne Airport.

Although John Wayne Airport remains closed to the public, these limited emergency aircraft flights may continue until the airport resumes normal operations. Stepped-up security measures will be in force during these emergency flights.
