Rental Car Operations Being Relocated To
Complete Parking Expansion Project

Santa Ana, CA -- Effective Sunday, November 1, 1998, the rental car operations at John Wayne Airport will be temporarily relocated to allow for the completion of the East Parking Structure expansion project.

The new location for the rental car operations will be in the basement of Parking Lot A2, located at the north end of the East Parking Structure. Previously, they were located in the basement of Parking Lot B2 at the south end of the East Parking Structure.

The entrances to the rental car operations will be on the lower level roadway across from the terminal. Signage will be in place to direct travelers to the different rental car agency locations.

Phase I of the parking expansion project is expected to be completed this November with the opening of 1,000 additional parking spaces just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. The entire expansion project will be completed next spring and provide travelers with nearly 2,000 new parking spaces.
