JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT POSTS DECEMBER 2007 STATISTICS (REVISED)

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport decreased in December 2007 as compared to December 2006. In December 2007, the Airport served 734,534 passengers, a decrease of 9.5% when compared to the 811,394 passenger traffic count of December 2006.

Commercial Carrier flight operations decreased 1.5%, while Commuter Carrier (air taxi) operations increased 14.3% when compared to the same levels recorded in December 2006.

Total aircraft operations decreased in December 2007 as compared to the same month in 2006. In December 2007, there were 25,714 total aircraft operations (take-offs and landings), a decrease of 0.1% when compared to 25,732 total aircraft operations in December 2006.

General aviation activity, which accounted for 66% of the total aircraft operations during December 2007, decreased 0.3% when compared to December 2006.
