JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT POSTS NOVEMBER 2007 STATISTICS (REVISED)

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport decreased in November 2007 as compared to November 2006. In November 2007, the Airport served 782,059 passengers, a decrease of 1.8% when compared to the November 2006 passenger traffic count of 796,199.

Commercial Carrier flight operations decreased 0.1%, while Commuter Carrier (air taxi) operations increased 14.1% when compared to the same levels recorded in November 2006.

Total aircraft operations decreased in November 2007 as compared to the same month in 2006. In November 2007, there were 23,936 total aircraft operations (take-offs and landings), a decrease of 14.5% when compared to 27,979 total aircraft operations in November 2006.

General aviation activity, which accounted for 64% of the total aircraft operations during November 2007, decreased 21.4% when compared to November 2006.
