John Wayne Airport (JWA) will soon be one of Orange County’s largest-ever public works programs. While the Airport has its own professional team of top-notch engineers, planners, operations, finance and accounting staff, a project of this magnitude requires the support of a team of outside experts – including architects, engineers, planners and construction managers.
To date, the following firms have been retained:
Parsons Transportation Group,
Inc. |
Management Services Tasked with management and oversight of architect-engineer and construction agreements, which include monitoring, reporting and making recommendations regarding Improvement Program costs, schedules and budgets. |
Faithful+Gould |
Project Estimating Services Tasked with creating the initial and conceptual budget estimate for the design and construction of the Improvement Program taking into consideration the changes and trends of the industry. |
Faithful+Gould |
Master Scheduling Services Faithful+Gould will develop and manage a master schedule, coordinating a timeline of projects from the planning to design to construction of the Improvement Program. |
R&L Brosamer, Inc. |
Construction Services R&L Brosamer, Inc. is tasked with constructing the new South RON aircraft parking area to make room for the new third Terminal C. |
Gensler |
Architect/Engineering Services Gensler will provide design and engineering services for Terminal C, which includes development of a Building Information Model. Gensler was the primary architect on JWA's existing Thomas F. Riley Terminal. |
Jacobs |
Manager Jacobs is tasked with the management and oversight of construction of Terminal C, which includes the monitoring, scheduling, and evaluation of all ongoing facility construction. |
AE Consulting, Inc. |
Construction Services AE Consulting, Inc. is tasked with constructing the new Temporary Parking Lot C, which will serve the public during the ongoing construction of the new Terminal C and two new parking structures. |
Frasca and Associates, LLC |
Financial Advisor Frasca & Associates, LLC is tasked with budget oversight and fiscal administration of the John Wayne Airport Improvement Program funding. This includes implementation, evaluation, and coordination of all financial activities of the Airport overall Capital Improvement Program. |
Sidley Austin LLP |
Bond Counsel/Disclosure Counsel Sidley Austin LLP is tasked as acting Bond Counsel/Disclosure Counsel and will advise John Wayne Airport on financial issues relating to the cost and funding for the Airport overall Capital Improvement Program. |
