Station 18 Improvements and Emergency Operations Center Project

Project Description:

The objective of the Station 18 Improvements and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) project is multifold. The Station 18 portion of the project will include the construction of a redundant sheriff dispatch center in JWA Building 366 that will be utilized while retrofits to the existing sheriff dispatch center located in Terminal A are constructed. Construction will include the relocation of numerous information technology systems located at the airport.

Prequalification Documents were due on June 15, 2015.

Project Name:

Taxiway Bravo Rehabilitation

Project Description:

Taxiway Bravo is a 75’ wide, full-length, parallel taxiway to Runway 2L/20R. The taxiway serves commercial jets as well as general aviation. The project will rehabilitate Taxiway Bravo from the south end at Taxiway Delta approximately 4,300’ north to a previously completed rehabilitation project. The rehabilitation should extend the service life of the taxiway an additional 20 years. The project will also phase construction to minimize impacts to both commercial and general aviation aircraft operations. Additionally, the project will realign the centerline striping at the Taxiway Bravo/Taxiway Lima intersection according to current FAA standards.

Status:

A-E Agreement awarded to Kimley-Horn.

Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) Relocation Project

The Common Use Passenger Processing System Relocation Project will provide point of sale machine infrastructure and anchoring as well as demolition of existing infrastructure for current point of sale machines. The project will also address any necessary repairs to floor finishes affected by the demolition.
