ARTIST CAROL GOLDMARK FEATURED IN COMMUNITY FOCUS ART PROGRAM AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
SANTA ANA, Calif. - A collection of paintings by artist Carol Goldmark is being featured at John Wayne Airport (JWA) as part of the Community Focus Space Program, accessible for viewing by both the traveling and non-traveling public through February 28, 2011.
The majority of Goldmark's works portray flowers and other themes surrounding the fleeting nature of flowering plants. "To me, flowers have become a metaphor for the life process," said Goldmark. "Using only live flowers, which are constantly changing as I work, I draw them in all stages, from bud and bloom to decay and disintegration, and see therein a mirror image of myself and of the world around me."

Goldmark's works will be displayed in the departure (upper) level near the security screening areas and on the arrival (lower) level near baggage carousels 1 and 4 and are accessible for viewing by the general public. To learn more about JWA's Community Focus Space Program, visit www.ocair.com.
