ARTIST ANNA FRIESEN FEATURED IN COMMUNITY FOCUS PROGRAM AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
SANTA ANA, Calif. - A collection of images by artist Anna Friesen will be featured at John Wayne Airport (JWA) as part of the Community Focus Program, now through June 10, 2010.
"It is my intention to assist the viewer in looking more closely at the world which holds wonders just waiting to be experienced," says Friesen. The featured work reflects influences of Friesen’s childhood that was tied closely to the rhythms of nature and farming in the rural Midwest. The images began as traditional, 35mm film photograph, and gradually developed into the artist’s highly stylized visual images, which now feature components of printmaking, photography and painting.
