PHOTOGRAPHER JOHN COLLETT FEATURED IN COMMUNITY FOCUS PROGRAM AT JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT
Santa Ana, California - A collection of photographs by John Collett is featured at John Wayne Airport (JWA) as part of the Community Focus Program and will be on display through October 28, 2009.
"My photographic interests are in the large vistas, the truly magnificent panoramas, and those landscapes that have stood the test of time, weather, evolution, and man," says Collett. "I try to reproduce these images with the same absolute clarity, honesty, accuracy and passion as the day they were recorded on film."

Completely self taught, John has been photographing for more than 25 years and still follows the classical purist style of photography. Using a 4 x 5 large format camera, he develops his own film and prints his black and white images in the traditional fashion without the aid of digital camera equipment or techniques.
Collett's photographs will be displayed in the departure (upper) level near the security screening areas and on the arrival (lower) level near baggage carousels 1 and 4. To learn more about JWA's Community Focus Program, visit www.ocair.com.
John Wayne Airport (SNA) is a self-supporting enterprise, owned and operated by the County of Orange, serves nearly nine million passengers annually and is governed by the five-member Orange County Board of Supervisors.
