Santa Ana, California - John Wayne Airport (JWA) is teaming up once again with the Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Monday September 14, 2009.

Passengers traveling to and from John Wayne Airport will have an opportunity to help save lives by donating blood from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Airport’s Riley Terminal. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked on the lower (arrival) level outside near Terminal A, between the first and second traffic signal. Departing passengers are encouraged to participate by donating blood prior to checking in for their flight; arriving passengers can participate after picking up their luggage at baggage claim.

Appointments are recommended for those who want to participate in the blood drive. However, walk-up donors are also welcome.
