Terminal A Passenger Security Screening Lanes to Partially Close for Construction Beginning Monday, February 6 (02/03/2012)
In order to continue the upgrade of the security screening checkpoints at John Wayne Airport, alternating lanes within the Terminal A passenger security checkpoint will close beginning MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2012. While the checkpoint itself will remain open, the number of screening lanes will be reduced. During this time, passengers departing John Wayne Airport should plan ahead giving themselves extra time to get through screening and find their gate.
John Wayne Airport Announces Restaurant Changes (01/27/2012)
Beginning Friday, January 27, 2012, John Wayne Airport restaurants Oasis Grill & Sky Lounge and Brioche Doree Cafe & Bakery, located between Gates 8 and 9, will be closed to the public. HMSHost will construct a new Ruby's Diner, Ruby's To-Go and Farmer's Market by Laguna Culinary Arts at this location. A new restaurant, Hobie Sand Bar, located near Gate 12, will open to the public on Friday, January 27, 2012.
John Wayne Airport Posts December 2011 Statistics (01/26/2012)
Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport decreased in 2011 as compared to 2010. In 2011, the Airport served 697,512 passengers, a decrease of 2.9% when compared to the 718,571 passenger traffic count of 2010.
John Wayne Airport Hosting Blood Drive (01/25/2012)
John Wayne Airport (JWA) will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on January 26, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked on the Lower (arrival) Level at the red curb outside of the Thomas F. Riley Terminal Administrative Offices, 18601 Airport Way, Santa Ana. Donors may sign up in advance at www.givelife.org. Walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the drive.

John Wayne Airport has announced the winners of its 22nd Annual Student Art Contest themed "Silent Flight." Jasmyne Kon and Alexander Kang received top honors as Grand Prize winners in this year's contest.
Construction Alert: Lane Closures on Lower Roadways - Seismic Retrofit (01/20/2012)
As part of an ongoing seismic retrofitting project, a portion of the lower (arrival) level roadway entrance to the Airport will be narrowed to allow for construction on the pillars reinforcing the upper (departure) level roadway. The pillars will also be wrapped according to the new Terminal A, B and C color schemes to better identify passenger pickup locations.
Terminal B Passenger Security Screening Lanes Close for Construction Beginning Wednesday, January 18 (01/17/2012)
The passenger security checkpoint in John Wayne Airport's Terminal B will be closed beginning Wednesday, January 18 for approximately two weeks. During this time, passengers departing John Wayne Airport should plan ahead giving themselves extra time to get through screening and find their gate.
Artist Mark Jacobucci Featured in Community Focus Space Program at John Wayne Airport (01/11/2012)
A selection of paintings by Laguna Beach artist Mark Jacobucci will be on display through January 30, 2012 in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal as part of John Wayne Airport's Community Focus Space Program. His artwork can be seen on the departure (upper) level near the security screening areas and on the arrival (lower) level near baggage carousels 1 and 4.
John Wayne Airport Posts November 2011 Statistics (01/03/2012)
Airline passenger traffic at John Wayne Airport increased in November 2011 as compared to November 2010. In November 2011, the Airport served 705,465 passengers, an increase of 2.1% when compared to the 690,859 passenger traffic count of November 2010.
