Construction Outreach

Construction is well underway at John Wayne Airport (JWA) and will continue through late 2011. Over the past few weeks, JWA has conducted an outreach program both in the terminal and in the surrounding community to educate passengers and Airport neighbors about current construction activities. This program included construction alerts, a staffed information table in the Riley Terminal, distribution of key messages and program information to terminal tenants and distribution of the postcard below to businesses located near the Airport. The postcard provides information about pile driving, travel tips during construction and the Airport Improvement Program in general.

Thanks to all the Airport’s Volunteer Ambassadors and Tour Guides for their time in helping us reach out to our passengers/neighbors and keeping them informed during construction!
