Parking Lot C
Parking Lot C opened in August 2008 to be used for passenger vehicle parking until the new Parking Structure C is completed as part of the Airport’s Improvement Program. Located south of the Terminal Complex, off Airport Way and Tallman, just north of Campus Drive, Lot C is situated on what will eventually be the new South Remain-Over-Night aircraft parking area. Passengers parking in Lot C utilize a free shuttle to take them to/from Terminals A and B.
The Airport Improvement Program includes construction of a new Terminal C and Parking Structure C and requires a number of enabling projects to make space for the location of these new facilities. Parking Structure B1 (located south of Terminal B) was situated in what is to be the future site of Terminal C and had to be demolished prior to moving forward with construction on the new facilities. For this reason, Parking Lot C was created to accommodate passenger parking throughout the construction period until Terminal C and Parking C open in late 2011.
