Timeline

The Airport Improvement Program is a multi-year program that includes the construction of new Terminal C, new Parking Structure C and updates to existing Terminals A and B with an estimated completion in late 2011.

Stage 1 (Complete)

  1. Build new South Remain-Over-Night (RON) aircraft parking area
  2. Stripe area for temporary passenger vehicle parking (Lot C)

Stage 2 (Complete)

  • Open Parking Lot C and provide free shuttle service between parking area and the Riley Terminal
  • Close and deconstruct Parking Structure B1

 Existing Facilities  Under Construction  Construction Complete

 

Stage 3 (Complete)

  • Begin construction of new Terminal C including north and south commuter terminals
  • Begin construction of new 2,000+ space Parking Structure C
  • Begin construction of new Central Utility Plant

Stage 4

  • Open new Terminal C (Complete)
  • Open new Parking Structure C (Complete)
  • Begin operation of new Central Utility Plant (Complete)
  • Close Parking Lot C/Relocate aircraft to new South RON (Complete)
  • Construct Phase 2 of Parking Structure C
