Milestones
The Board of Supervisors recently:
-
Authorized the Airport to issue a Request for Proposals for an underwriter to assist the Airport in issuing Airport Revenue Bonds;
Construction Progress:
-
A new security guard shack and fence is complete and operational at the Dove Street gate;
-
A new general aviation hangar has been completed in the area of Dove Street and Campus Drive;
-
A permanent construction access left-turn lane has been added northbound on Airport Way; (drivers should use caution in this area.)
Looking ahead, Staff will recommend the Board of Supervisors:

Adopt the List of Prequalified Bidders and Authorize the Airport to issue a Notice Inviting Bids for Terminal C Construction;

Adopt the List of Prequalified Bidders and Authorize the Airport to issue a Notice Inviting Bids for Parking Structure C;
-
Authorize the Airport to issue a Request for Proposals for Design-Build Services to the Prequalified Firms for the Central Utility Plant;
-
Award a contract to an underwriter to assist the Airport in issuing Revenue Bonds;
-
Award a contract for a Commissioning Agent for Terminal C.
Construction Status:
-
Parking Structure B1 closed permanently September 2nd and is being deconstructed to make way for Terminal C;
-
A portion of the South-Remain-Over-Night (RON) aircraft parking area is currently being utilized as a temporary vehicle parking lot. Construction is ongoing on the South RON project to install additional utilities and an extended fuel line that will be needed when the new Terminal C opens.
